The historical area of the Kosovo Battle which took place in 1389, i.e. the central place of the confrontation between the Serbian and Turkish armies, is a unique complex consisting of the Monument to the Serbian heroes - in the shape of medieval tower built in 1953 and designed by Aleksandar Deroko
